Not many people can say their first-ever gig was The Spice Girls Reunion Tour, but as a kid born and raised in Los Angeles, I can proudly say so. I like to say I owe my life to my parents in more ways than one. They introduced me to a concert lifestyle at the age of five and never looked back. As the three of us made venues like The Troubadour and The El Rey our escapes from everyday life, I began developing my own tastes and opinions about music and quickly found that my best outlet was through writing.

I am currently a freelance journalist focusing on music, art, entertainment, Latino culture and Los Angeles itself, but I am open to all writing opportunities. So far, my work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, Pasadena Magazine and Up Magazine.
